Comal County Engineer's Office Re-Opening to the Public on Monday 5/4/20

The Comal County Engineer's Office (CCEO) is re-opening to foot traffic in accordance with guidelines provided by the Comal County Office of Public Health and the State of Texas. In an effort to practice social distancing, please contact our office at (830) 608-2090 to schedule an appointment. This will allow the CCEO to spread out public interaction and allow for proper social distancing. When visiting the CCEO, masks or facial coverings are encouraged, but not required.

If submitting a Septic, Floodplain, Driveway, or Utility Permit application, please schedule a time to do so by calling (830) 608-2090. Please sanitize hands before interacting with a member of the CCEO. If submitting in person is not desired nor necessary, you can also:

1. Submit By E-mail. E-mail scanned application to griffk@co.comal.tx.us. If application is administratively complete, a CCEO representative will contact you to obtain application fee by credit card over the phone. Please understand that there is a 3% convenience fee to pay by credit card.

2. Submit By Drop Box. We have a weather-resistant, locked drop box outside the CCEO where applications can be dropped. We will review and contact you if there are any administrative deficiencies that need to be addressed. In addition, we will mail you a receipt for any application fees that are submitted.
