MAINTAINING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY Comal County is responsible for maintaining the right-of-way on county roads, ensuring proper drainage, mowing, removing debris, and disposing of any dead animals.
	MOWING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY Comal County has a crew of mowers that move through the county mowing the right-of-way. Most areas are mowed twice a year, while some areas require more frequent attention as high grass and weeds can hinder visibility on county roads.
