Dead Animals
HAZARD
Comal County is dedicated to maintaining the county roads. One of
the responsibilities within general maintenance is to keep the right-of-way
free of any obstruction. A dead animal can create many hazards affecting
both health and safety.

QUICK RESOLUTION
Comal County has a dedicated workforce to address the issue of dead
animals on the county roadways and strives to resolve the concern
in as quick a manner as possible. If you need to report a dead animal
on a county roadway or right-of-way, please call
830-608-2090.
Reminder:
For carcass removal on private property, the owner must be present
to sign a release form. Comal County reserves the right to dispose of domesticated animals
"pets".
